Lauren Monroe is an international speaker, musician, healing arts educator with over 25 years of experience in energy medicine, mind-body wellness, spiritual healing and music. Lauren began drumming in 1993 as a member of Sankofa African Dance and Drum Ensemble in NY and plays Remo Mondo Djembes, Remo Versa Djembes and Remo Buffalo Drums in her live performances and drum circle work.

With a Master of Arts in Dance and advanced certifications in Mind-Body Therapies, she integrates music, storytelling, and transformative healing practices to create transcending experiences of heart-mind coherence. As a songwriter and multi-instrumental artist, she has released multiple albums and singles, including Under the Wolf Moon, Messages from Aphrodite, and Oneness Chant that received over 2M plays on Spotify. Lauren’s vocals also appear on the award-winning album Chakra Chants by Jonathon Goldman.

She is the co-founder of the Raven Drum Foundation with her husband, Rick Allen, drummer of Def Leppard, and is the creator and facilitator of the Raven Drum Circle and Mind Body Drum Programs that incorporates Remo Percussion since 2001.

Lauren has dedicated her life to supporting trauma recovery for veterans, first responders, and at-risk communities through drumming, neurobiology education, and resiliency training. She has led healing programs worldwide, including for the U.S. military, juvenile detention centers, and survivors of domestic violence and trafficking.

A published author and contributor to Modern Drummer Magazine, she continues to bring new perspectives and insights into the healing arts while performing and expanding her mission of awakening and empowerment through music and experiential learning.
