Jacopo Volpe grew up in Rome, Italy. He started showing interest on the drums at the age of 4, that’s why his family decided to bring him to a local drum teacher. His father, an afterwork keyboardist, played a key role in fueling his passion and love for music. He brought him to a lot of live shows all around the country and to the rehearsals of his friends’ band too. At the age of 10 he was already playing live in the best live music clubs in town. He has always been influenced by rock drummers such as John Bonham and Ian Paice, but his father showed him many other drummers such as Dennis Chambers, Simon Phillips, Jeff Porcaro, Steve Gadd and Vinnie Colaiuta. At the age of 14 he discovered punk music and started his first band. After only few months he went on tour outside Italy for the first time. After graduating at the age of 18, he joined the band Vanilla Sky, one of the top Italian pop punk bands, having the chance to go on his first world tour. In 2013, Jacopo decided to orient his work as a session drummer for the rap scene in Italy. He joined Italian top selling artists such as Salmo, Sfera Ebbasta, Marracash and Blanco. In 2017 and 2018 Jacopo went on tour all over the globe with the band The Bloody Beetroots. In 2023 Jacopo was called by Post Malone to join his first tour with the band ‘’If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying’’. The tour featured 30 shows in the US run +other 20 shows worldwide, traveling from South America to Asia and from Middle East to Australia and New Zealand. In 2024 Jacopo played major US festivals as headliner with Post Malone. They performed at Governor’s Ball, Bonnaroo, Iowa Race Speed and many more. They also performed in a unique location such as The Louvre, in Paris, for a one-time event that can never happen again. At the end of 2024, Jacopo joined the Maneskin’s singer Damiano David as a drummer and music director for his new solo career. They made their live debut at Jimmy Fallon and Damiano scheduled a worldwide tour for the end of 2025. Appearances at major worldwide summer festivals are scheduled between June and August 2025.

“I've always been a big fan of Remo. Remo drumheads have always been my first choice for both recording and live. I used to save money to buy fresh Emperor X for the snare when I was 14. All my favorite records feature Remo heads and all my favorite drummers use Remo, so for me it's always been the gold standard in terms of sound for the drums. Honestly, my drums never sounded so good. I'd recommend any drummer to use Remo heads as they're literally game changer for the drum sound. I feel like I'm finally home. Because for me it’s the sound of the best records and live drums I’ve ever listened to. There’s no other sound like Remo in the world.” -Jacopo Volpe
