Brittany Brooks is originally from Oakland California and the thought of learning to play an instrument came when she was 12 years old. She started playing in her school band and eventually, her Bay Area church, Faith Worship Center Ministries.
After graduating high school, Brittany decided to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a professional drummer. Over the next several years, Brittany worked diligently with numerous local artists and even had a brief stent playing on the Las Vegas strip at the Paris Hotel and Casino. Brittany continued to audition for big name artist and one day she got the call she had long hoped for.
Brittany toured extensively with Ceelo Green both overseas and within the states. Over the following years, Brittany played behind big artists such as Janelle Monet, Kelis, Fat Joe, Remi Ma, and Letoya Luckett, appearing on various talk shows, and countless festivals and venues from all over the world!
Today, Brittany continues to play drums and has recently created a vlog series called #shesABLEton when she is documenting her journey of learning the music production Digital Audio Workspace, Ableton, from beginner to creating live musician front of an audience! Follow her journey on Instagram!
