Born in the SF Bay Area, into a family of educators and performing artists, and raised in New York, Ashley was enveloped by art and culture. She grew up acting, dancing, and singing on stage and tv and performed in Porgy and Bess at The Metropolitan Opera House for 2 years as a child.

Her family moved to Los Angeles when she was 15 where she graduated from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Shortly after heading to U.C.L.A for a degree in World Arts & Cultures, she filmed Sister Act 2.

As Ashley worked and studied she realized for her, the missing component in all that she was doing was children. Arts Education became her path and for the last 20 years she has found a never-ending world of magic and joy.

She believes that in planting Creative Seeds with young minds, the possibilities of what can grow from there are endless. She currently works with up to 100 youth and families in Los Angeles weekly through music, movement, meditation, and Yoga.
