Village Music Circles Seminar – Costa Rica in Harmony

Costa Rica was the first stop on my 3 country tour where I taught the Village Music Circles One Day Seminar on the art of drum circle facilitation, facilitated drum circles and gave product training to our distributors.

A warm welcome and a true sense of family greeted me on meeting the wonderful people at Bansbach Instrumentos Musicales, the Remo distributor in Costa Rica, on the first stop on my 3 country tour. They organized and hosted a very successful the Village Music Circles One Day Seminar on the art of drum circle facilitation with about 25 people in attendance from a wide variety of backgrounds from therapy to performance. Many thanks to Norman Arguello, Gabriela Morris, and Werner Bansbach, General Manager of Bansbach, for a well-organized, and productive visit! Here are a few images of Engagement, Creativity and Joy from the Seminar.

One of the benefits of being in this sort of learning experience is that we get to experience the joy of making music together.

Body percussion breakout sessions are a chance to practice the basics and get creative!

Transition from the breakouts to the full circle is another opportunity for rhythm and play!

Time for grounding the learning and experiencing the energy of the circle.

And let's not forget to Listen. The Rhythm Starts Here:

How much fun was that? A lot!

Many thanks to Norman Arguello, Gabriela Morris, Werner Bansbach and all the wonderful people at Bansbach.
