Steve Barney doesn’t just play for big names, he’s a big name player himself with a varied and impressive array of artists in his portfolio.
Over the years he has worked with Jeff Beck, Mike + The Mechanics, Hotei, Sugababes, The Wanted, Kelis, Eagle-Eye Cherry… but is probably best known for touring with Anastacia and Annie Lennox.
His studio highlights include playing on Jeff Beck’s Grammy award-winning instrumental “Plan B” and Will Young’s UK number one - “Leave Right Now”.
Perhaps Barney’s biggest accolade was performing with Eurythmics legend Annie Lennox at Live 8 London to an audience of 200,000 people.
