Peter Szendofi is one of the most frequently employed musicians in Hungary. He has played on more than 150 albums and regularly performs at festivals and concerts.

Over the past few years, he has divided his time between Europe and the United States, conducting clinics, solo performances, concerts and teaching. He has toured with world-renowned bass player Gary Willis and Grammy Award-winning saxophone player Brandon Fields since 2005.

Founder and bandleader, composer and arranger of his jazz fusion band, FusioGroup, for 25 years, Peter is also an international endorsement artist for Tama Drums, Meinl Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks, Remo Drumheads, Humes & Berg Cases, Cympad Accessories and ProLogic pads. He has also been a member of The Percussive Arts Society Drum Set Committee since 2013.

In recent years, Peter has performed in Macau, South Korea, Guatemala, Thailand, Singapore, Italy, Russia, Finland, Germany, UK, Ireland, Switzerland, The Netherlands and the New York area.

Peter is a Master Class Artist at the Drummers Collective, New York. He has performed live and recorded albums with James Morrison, Will Lee, George Whitty, David Friedman, Gary Willis, Oz Noy, Jerry Z., Tony Lakatos, Brandon Fields, Chris Hunter, Al Di Meola, Kip Reed, Shankar Lal, Ferenc Snetberger, Alegre Correa, John Gunther, Jojo Mayer, Tom Brechtlein. He graduated from the Jazz Department of Franz Liszt Academy of Music in 1992 and was awarded a full scholarship to The Drummers Collective in 1995.
