Felix M. Lehrmann, born in 1984 in the small German town of Halberstadt, moved to Berlin at the age of three and picked up the drums at the same time. As the son of renowned guitarist Michael Lehrmann, he grew up in a household that doubled as a permanent jam session, forging a lifelong musical partnership with his father. By 17 he had launched his professional career, touring Europe with singer Della Miles even while finishing high school (he graduated in 2004). Immediately afterward he spent two years on the road with German TV star and vocalist Yvonne Catterfeld, and his calendar has remained packed ever since with international tours, studio dates, and drum clinics. Lehrmann has performed or recorded with a wide range of artists, including Dendemann, Sarah Connor, The Flower Kings, Jon Anderson, Martin Miller, Jan Böhmermann, Aloe Blacc, Jennifer Rush, Gloria Gaynor, Samy Deluxe, Haftbefehl, Torsten Goods, China Moses, Randy Brecker, Paul Gilbert, and Dieter “Maschine” Birr. In 2020 he formed his own band, Marriage Material, alongside Thomas Stieger, Raphael Meinhart, and Arto Mäkelä.
