Dominic Howard, born in 1977, is the driving force behind the drums for the rock band Muse, which he co-founded. Inspired by a school jazz band at a young age, Howard picked up the drums around 12 and hasn't looked back. His energetic and technical style is a key ingredient in Muse's sound, which blends alternative and progressive rock with electronic influences. While primarily dedicated to Muse, Howard has lent his drumming talents to other artists like Frank Turner and even dabbled in side projects with his bandmate Matt Bellamy.  Known for his diverse taste in music, Howard draws influence from drumming legends like Stewart Copeland and Roger Taylor to modern rockers like Dave Grohl.
