David Parkes is a live session drummer hailing from Warrnambool, Victoria. Since relocating to Melbourne to complete a Bachelor of Music Performance at Melbourne Polytechnic, he has carved his name into the Australian Progressive Metal scene. David is currently the live drummer for singer/songwriter Dan Sultan, and is a member of instrumental group I Built The Sky, and technical metal band Wallet Inspector. Most recently, David has developed his craft in session and touring drumming, filling in for bands Periphery (USA), The Amity Affliction, Alpha Wolf, Paledusk (JPN), and electronic dance artist Running Touch.
