Colleyville Heritage High School is located in Texas in the DFW area. Over the last few decades, the Band program has been awarded accolades in many major contest circuits including US Bands, BOA, and Honor Band. CHHS consistently earns the sweepstakes award, earning first division ratings in marching and concert band.
The percussion program is instructed by Nick Beaudet, Dan Darrah, and Tony Luna, and is a competitive force in the marching realm and percussion ensemble as well as the individual competition such as solo performance and the TMEA All-State audition process.
The Colleyville Heritage percussion program is a former champion of the Percussion Arts Society’s national marching festival, call for tapes festival, Lone Star Drumline Contest, Lewisville Drumline Contest, HEB Drumline Contest, Plano Drumline Contest, as well as gold medalists in the North Texas Colorguard Association Indoor Drumline championships. Their percussion ensemble has recently been national winners of the Mark of Excellence contest and winners of the North Texas Percussion Festival held in Forney, TX.
