The Chino Hills HS percussion program is led by John Mapes and Ian Grom. Chino Hills has been a WGI world class finalist for the past 10 years in which time they have become an 8 time medalist and 4 time champion. They have also won SCPA championships 6 times. In addition the percussion section has 8 high percussion titles for the fall season since 2007 at WBA, the state marching band circuit.
