The youngest of three brothers, Aaron grew up in a musical family in Gislaved, a small town in Sweden. His parents are singers and instrumentalists, but it was his oldest brother who inspired him to play drums. His favorite musicians were Mike Stern, Dave Weckl, Yellowjackets, and of course Toto. At age 15 he performed “Festival de Ritmo” by Dave Weckl band in front of a juriy at music schools around Stockholm. The auditions became legendary and Aaron blasted max points everywhere he went. Aron eventually met Dirty Loops bandmates-to-be Jonah and Henrik at Södra Latin, a highly selective upper secondary school situated in Södermalm, Stockholm. It was there he took lessons from Robert Sundin, a bass player who later became his mentor. He then attended four years at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, also with Henrik and Jonah. As they got more studio work and small gigs, they felt, “Hey, we’re on to so much knowledge and the music industry won´t let us use it in a creative way.”

It was then that the idea of Dirty Loops was created.
