"Rhythm Clinic" is an initiative created by Martin Ivanov and offered by the Institute of Contemporary Arts & Therapy Liberal Institute (Bulgaria). The nature of the project is to provide free rhythm therapy sessions for children and adolescents with disabilities from all over the country.
Martin tells us how he met Ozzy. Ozzy was in a group rhythm session in the town of Ruse (Bulgaria), and he was so attached to the drum that he simply didn't want to leave it. Martin felt that Ozzy wanted to tell him something, although he cannot talk. After the other kids left, they did a rhythm session with just the two of them.
Although Ozzy suffers from polio and other disabilities, they had one of the most meaningful conversations Martin has ever had - a rhythm conversation full of joy, love, and hope.
This video represents Martin's 15 years of rhythm therapy work with children and adolescents with disabilities in Bulgaria.
