Developed by internationally-renowned music educator Lynn Kleiner, Music Rhapsody is a fresh approach to early childhood music education. For over 35 years, Music Rhapsody has utilized unique instruments, puppets, props, and a game-like approach to teach thousands of students from age infant to teenager. Music Rhapsody is based on the “Orff approach” which includes creativity, movement, singing, drama, improvisation, and instrument playing -- all designed to meet children at any stage of musical development.
The Music Rhapsody journey begins at birth and continues for a lifetime. By utilizing an approach that honors and emulates the natural development of all humans, Music Rhapsody temporarily delays the formal reading process and teaches students to play by immersing them in great-sounding music making immediately. It’s a program that, to its core, acknowledges and values the input and creativity of each and every child. Since its founding, programs have been taught in daycares, preschools, elementary schools and studios all over the world.
