Born in 1994 to a musical family, Nehemya's love for music began in at the age 3, when he picked up the drumsticks.
A few years after graduating Thelma-Yellin High School for the Arts, Nehemya moved to New-York City, his current base, continuing his musical journey.
Nehemya's drumming is unique, exciting and uplifting, mixing together his Middle Eastern roots with Fusion and Jazz music influences.
"My story with Remo started when I was about 3 years old. My father is a professional drummer as well, and he only used Remo as a part of his setup. So I grew up with that Remo sound, making it strange to play any other drumheads. For me, Remo heads consistently deliver what I’m looking for - they just feel right. My go-to choice is the Coated Ambassador. I love everything about them. I play a range of styles, from jazz to heavier stuff, and the Ambassadors always rise to the occasion. They’re warm, punchy, and give me the rich palate of overtones I’m looking for. I’ve yet to find another brand that matches their versatility and feel." -Orfi Nehemya
