From the age of five, Mira Burgers drummer of The Cool Quest / Jarlentji decided: "I want to become a drummer!" Everything revolves around her passion and dream since then. In 2018, she graduated from Rock City Institute. In 20 years she developed into a musical, versatile drummer with her own style. Her groove and sound are especially characteristic. She also pays a lot of attention to creativity and her looks. For her drum video’s “INSPIRED BY” she dives into all kinds of drummers and styles. A fascinating way to continue developing herself. Live on stage with The Cool Quest and Jarlentji is what she loves to do most. With The Cool Quest she played at major festivals such as Zwarte Cross, mainstages various Liberation Festivals, etc. And did some (inter)national tours. With Jarlentji (FunX/3voor12 Talent) she participated in De Grote Prijs Van Nederland, De Popronde and played at Boosterfestival. She also loves to do studio work and TV or radio performances. She was a guest several times at DWDD, 3FM, Radio 2, Klokhuis and with The Cool Quest house band at the TV broadcasts of The Olympic Games (Studio Beijing). She participated in a Martin Verdonk Master Session and recorded in various studio’s such as: Wisseloord, Woodstock, Het Atelier, Sandlane and De Moor. She enjoys sharing her passion through drum lessons in her own drum school, guest lessons and band coaching at secondary/primary education, but also at Music Education schools and clinics (such as Herfstfest, Bax Music,Terpstra Muziekland, and the Drummersdag Amsterdam). Since 2018, Mira has been a proud endorser of Sabian Cymbals and Tama Drums. Recently (September, 2024) she had the honour to became a member of the Remo family. She also likes to compose music and backing tracks (also on (bass) guitar) for her Social Media video’s (and several other projects), which she pays a lot of attention to. Some of her drum teachers: Cora Coleman Dunham (Beyoncé / Prince), Oscar Kraal (Anouk / Candy Dulfer), Juan van Emmerloot (Snowy White), Bram van den Berg (Krezip / U2), Tim van Delft (De Staat), Michael Schack, Martin Verdonk, Brian Frasier Moore (Pink / Justin Timberlake), and others. Beautiful names from the international circuit gave her the runner up position in the Worldwide drummer Contest Hit Like A Girl.
