Mike Cosgrove is the long-time drummer for the multi-platinum rock band Alien Ant Farm, which he co-founded in Riverside, California, in 1996. He has been integral to the band's sound throughout their career, including their breakout, platinum-certified album ANThology, which featured the chart-topping cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" and the hit single "Movies."
Known as a drummer's drummer and a gear enthusiast, Cosgrove is dedicated to his craft, focusing on technique and musical prowess. In addition to writing, recording, and touring with Alien Ant Farm, he has worked independently and as an education contributor for drummagazine.com. He has also been involved in side projects like Mystery Schools & Pretty Neato, and performed live with thrash band Excel.
