The youngest touring drummer in the 25-year history of the renowned Vans Warped Tour, Maren Alford has played alongside iconic artists throughout the U.S. and U.K., become an international sensation with viral social media videos, and has been Facebook, Inc.’s featured face of young female artists throughout the world promoting International Women's Day and Women's History Month. Her passion for inspiring, encouraging, and empowering young players, especially girls and young women, has been recognized and celebrated both on and off stage. Maren began playing professionally at age 12, and touring at age 13 with the award-winning, all-girl band Not Ur Girlfrenz (2016-2020), quickly breaking out with her energetic drumming style and commanding stage presence. The success of the band led to U.S. and U.K. tours supporting pop punk icons, two Vans Warped Tours, popular recordings, and a sponsorship with Vans shoe and apparel company. Maren burst on the scene independently with her viral cover video of Slipknot's "Unsainted", and has been featured in many international publications including Kerrang!, NME, Revolver, Loudwire, Rolling Stone Brazil and DRUM! Magazine. Maren continues to expand and build her social media following, gaining traction and influence on the wildly popular app TikTok as well as across other platforms. Maren can also be seen in the AMS Pictures documentary "Karen Carpenter: Starving for Perfection", representing the early years of Karen's legendary drumming career through recreations of some of Karen's iconic performances. She was also featured in the "Girl Power" tv commercial for Reliant Energy, authored her own blog series for The Gretsch Company and was a Finalist/Fan Favorite in the international "Hit Like a Girl" competition.

”My goal is to inspire, encourage, influence and empower a new generation of players, particularly young women, to begin their own musical journey using the very best products in the business for maximum performance and impact - and to continue to change and shape perceptions of women in the music industry through leadership and example. I have been playing drums for years (playing professionally at age 12 and touring at age 13). Throughout my career, Remo heads have always been my heads of choice - the "gold standard". I proudly play Remo through my artistic journey.” -Maren Alford
