Jess Bowen is best known as the drummer of The Summer Set, a pop-rock band she co-founded in 2007. In addition to her role in The Summer Set, she has contributed to a variety of musical projects and collaborated with notable artists such as 3OH!3, Jax, Lights, Cassadee Pope, and others, establishing herself as a sought-after touring and session drummer.

Jess's influence reached even further after her appearance in the Netflix documentary “Count Me In”, and gained even more recognition with her viral performance of “Bulls on Parade” on the popular Drumeo series.

Beyond her impressive musicianship, Jess is an advocate for greater representation and opportunities for women in rock and pop punk music, industries that have historically been dominated by men. Through her work and activism, she continues to inspire aspiring musicians, and is helping to break down barriers within the music scene. Her passion for her craft, paired with her advocacy for equality, has made her an important figure in both the drumming community and the broader music world.

"I grew up in a drum-playing family, and from as young as I can remember we always used Remo Heads. They are by far the best sounding, most durable heads I’ve ever used and I’m proud to be part of the family." -Jess Bowen
