Daniel Stivens is the drummer for Melbourne bands Ocean Sleeper and Dear Reckless. He began his drumming journey at the age of 7 and hasn't been able to put the sticks down since. After performing countless shows throughout Australia over the years, 2023 was his busiest year to date. He co-founded emo pop-punk band Dear Reckless, and more recently joined metalcore band Ocean Sleeper as their live drummer. Performing with Ocean Sleeper, he toured extensively throughout 2023 supporting Make Them Suffer, Fit for an Autopsy, Sunk Loto and more. The band also showcased their talents headlining their own interstate tour and performing at multiple music festivals—Unify (Melbourne), Froth and Fury (Adelaide) and Good Things (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane).
