Recognized by the National Association for Recording Arts & Sciences for his percussion work on the Grammy winning album “Ziggy Marley: In Concert”, Chicago native and Los Angeles resident Angel Roché Jr., has been on a diverse musical path since first arriving in LA 20 years ago. It has taken him from being the drummer for Dave Navarro, Mellowdrone and Revolver, to being touring/recording percussionist of 12 yrs for Ziggy Marley. Angel's playing can be heard on recordings by Ziggy Marley, Taj Mahal and LOONER to name a few. Under the moniker Roché Roché, he produces and composes music together with his partner Zoë Poledouris, together they have written score and songs for such feature films as Teenage Caveman, The Hero of Color City and Bunyan & Babe. As musical director, Angel leads the band that performs the score during live screenings of the David Fincher movie Fight Club, an event known as "Fight Club Live".

Currently Angel is touring in support of LOONER's latest album; while writing music and songs for the upcoming animated feature “Pierre The Pigeon Hawk” featuring Nick Cannon, Whoopi Goldberg & Kenan Thompson as well as penning original songs for horror movie "The Shed". He is also thrilled to be able to join William Close & The Earth Harp Collective on select shows around the world.
