The Valencia Bodhran features a soft attack with deep bass tones and can produce pitch-bending notes. It is constructed with an Acousticon shell, a vinyl Bahia Bass drumhead, and an internal tuning system. The Valencia Bodhran is a large Frame Drum designed to produce a low-pitch tone when played with a double-headed wooden mallet called a cipín, tipper, or beater. Ideal for traditional Celtic Drumming and dance applications. The Valencia Bodhran is available in an antique brown wood grain finish. Includes a hex tuning key and tipper drumstick.
