The Katsugi Okedaiko features controlled warm tones and an elegantly finished drum shell with contemporary Japanese artwork. Constructed with a lightweight Acousticon drum shell highlighting a Skyndeep natural drumhead that is traditionally tuned with a durable 3/8” gold rope. The Japanese term Katsugi means "to carry" the lightweight Katsugi Okedaiko is easily slung over the shoulder and played using two Bachi sticks for this unique style of traditional Japanese drumming.
