The S-Series Nuskyn® Bongo drumhead sounds natural, warm, and full-bodied with enhanced low and mid-range frequencies, without any lingering high-pitched overtones. The maintenance-free, weather-resistant, and traditional look of the Nuskyn film also closely resembles the performance of animal skin, while actually expanding the sound response spectrum dramatically. Remo S-Series Bongo drumheads are sized to accommodate small-size model Bongos with the small drum (macho) measuring 6.75 and the large drum (hembra) measuring 8”.

'drum size' = shells bearing edge-edge. "Macho" = smallest drum in the set: 7" or 7-1/4" "Hembra" = largest drum in the set: 8.5" or 8-5/8", 9" Entry Level Size Bongos: 6.75” crown (6.75” drum), 8” crown (8” drum).
