Lynn Kleiner is an internationally recognized leader in music education and has been teaching from an “Orff approach” since 1978. She is the founder and director of Music Rhapsody, a music school she created in 1983 due to the drastic cuts to music school programs in Southern California. Since its founding, Music Rhapsody has taught thousands of children, ranging from infants through teens, in daycares, preschools, elementary schools, and Music Rhapsody centers.

Lynn’s early childhood instruments, including the amazing 40-inch Gathering Drum, were developed with Remo Belli and designed for the youngest music makers. Safety, durability, and quality are the standard for each instrument. Additionally, Lynn has several books/CDs for early childhood music published by Alfred Music. Her instruments and resources have received the prestigious Oppenheim Award, the Dove Award, the Creative Child Award, and are recommended by the National Parenting Association.

Lynn has been a popular presenter for national and international music education and early childhood music organizations for more than 30 years, presenting for organizations such as NAEYC, NAfME, ISME, AMTA and Orff Associations from many countries, most notably The American Orff Schulwerk Association. Lynn also provides professional development to school districts.
