Cajon
Cajon (pronounced: Ka-hone) is the Spanish word for “box”.

The Crown Percussion Cajon is made from Siam Oak which stands 19.75” tall making it a comfortable sitting height while playing other instruments like congas, djembes or bongo drums in your set-up.
With a thin sheet of Siam Oak wood for the face (playing surface) it produces a medium pitch bass tone and two pronounced snare like sounds when played either on the top edge or outer edges of the face. One medium gauge wire is looped creating four strands on the inside face of the Cajon and can be easily adjusted with an Allen wrench. This adjustment will loosen or tighten the wire against the inside face producing that snare sound.
