Remo banjo heads are available in six finishes (Coated on top or underneath, Cloudy, Clear, Renaissance and Fiberskyn 3) in 1/16" increments from 10" to 12 1/8" diameters. They come in three collar heights: Low Collar - 3/8", Medium Collar - 7/16", and High Collar - 1/2".



MODEL LINEUP
The Clear Diplomat® is Remo’s brightest, most open sounding head due to its single layer of Mylar® film.

The term Cloudy is for banjo heads and Hazy is for drumsets. They’re the same head with excellent projection, with a bright, clear, focused sound.

The Coated Diplomat® is slightly warmer than the Clear Diplomat® due to a thin layer of coating on the single ply of Mylar® film. They’re known for their bright warm tones, resonance, and sustain.

The Coated Diplomat® is slightly warmer than the Clear Diplomat® due to a thin layer of coating on the single layer of Mylar® film. They’re known for their bright warm tones, resonance, and sustain. For drum set use, the head is coated on the top side creating a texture excellent for playing with brushes. The coating is specifically put on the underside of the banjo head for the comfort of a banjo player’s finger picking style.

The Fiberskyn® Diplomats® have warm tones due to a poly-spun fiber single layer of Mylar® film. They’re known for their warm full tones, resonance, and sustain.

The Renaissance® Diplomat® is slightly warmer than Clear Diplomats® due to a textured surface on the single layer of Mylar® film. They’re known for their rich warm tones, resonance and tone.
