Alyssa Janney HealthRhythms Manager
“I am proud to manage a scientifically-based program with demonstrated health benefits. I have found that it inspires people, calls out their compassion, awakens self-expression and creates a powerfully nurturing environment. Like a stone thrown into still water, ripple upon ripple, group after group HealthRHYTHMS makes a difference.” Alyssa Janney
Alyssa Janney was an entrepreneur at an early age. Through her formative years she received recognition for her business endeavors, music composition and singing. She traveled frequently, composing and arranging music for a trio and performing in larger ensembles before audiences in the US & Canada for church services, political and gala events.
The coalescence of her music & business interests culminated in a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business from Belmont University, a premier music business institution located in the heart of Nashville, TN. There she lived and worked around the music industry for 15 years before moving to Los Angeles, where she was recruited by Remo, Inc. She continues to perform publicly as a member of the Santa Clarita based women’s jazz vocal ensemble called The Treblemakers. Their debut CD, It’s Not About the Coffee was released in 2005. www.treblemakers.org
To get at the heart of who Alyssa is you would need to know that she feels blessed & humbled by her family heritage. Her childhood was shaped by a loving family whose roots reached deep into the hills of Appalachia. It was there that promises made during the frightened prayers of an orphaned boy were manifested when her great grandfather founded a home for needy children in the very hills of Appalachia where he slept as a boy. It is there, since 1921 that four generations of her family have devoted their lives to advancing the welfare of incredibly challenged children, who by the thousands prove time and time again that it’s not what happens to you in your life that determines what you can accomplish….rather your attitude in dealing with life’s challenges that is the true measure of ones success. And perhaps it is because of that standard of service set by her family that Alyssa takes much joy in empowering the success of others. “Managing HealthRHYTHMS for Remo, Inc. is a great honor for me. It gives me the opportunity to experience the passion and goodwill of so many incredible professionals from all walks of life, who choose to learn to facilitate HealthRHYTHMS because they seek another vehicle to touch the lives of others. And the people they touch are their families, colleagues, community neighbors or persons reaching out for help who have been challenged by disease, emotional trauma, or other life stressors” Alyssa Janney.
