Letter From The Founder
From the plains of Eurasia and rain forests of South America to the
deserts of Africa and mountains of North America, mankind has been
drumming since the beginning of time. Over the centuries, as drumming
has grown, unique percussion instruments have evolved from many cultures
around the world, creating an art of drum making that is as old and as
varied as the art of drumming itself.
Since we first opened our doors in 1957, our goal at Remo has been to
advance these two inter-related arts. The result of this commitment
is the expanding range of Remo Drumheads, Percussion Instruments, and
accessories. Advanced in design yet authentic in sound, from our Signature
Series to our award-winning Kid's Percussion line, every product we make
is developed to meet the needs of the world's most discriminating professional
percussionists. Yet, each head, drum, and related accessory also incorporates
a variety of modern technologies that allow them to be accessible and
affordable to the rapidly growing number of part-time players on the planet.
By creating instruments to meet the ever-growing, ever-changing needs of
drumming, we've been bringing the world of percussion together for over 40
years. No matter which Remo Percussion instrument you choose to play, you'll
find there's a world of creativity in your hands.
What do you want to play today?
