Seattle World Rhythm Festival Kids Day

Valencia, CA - REMO Inc. provided an incredible workshop for students from more than ten Seattle area middle schools using REMO Sound Shape™ drums to create rhythm, fun, self-expression, and creativity with students and teachers.

The Kids’ Day was hosted by the Seattle World Percussion (www.swps.org)
Society and was part of the Seattle World Rhythm Festival, and annual event. The 45 minute drumming program was facilitated by Christine Stevens and included a demonstration of how to play the Sound Shapes, call and response games, following a leader, and culminating in a mini-drum circle experience. Responses from kids and teachers demonstrated the value of group drumming as an educational and health tool for school groups and classrooms.
