Remo Creates A Complete System For Starting, Marketing, And Running A Drum Circle Program

Developed by one of the recognized leaders in the field of World Drumming, Remo’s “Community Drum Circle Start-Up Kit” has been designed to provide music dealers with a wide range of resources and information that they can use to create new opportunities for their businesses and communities. The in-depth “How To” manual was adapted from “Prelude To A Drum Circle” by drum circle innovator and guru Arthur Hull with many contributions from the Remo drum circle team.

“The primary goal of the Drum Circle program is to support the growth of recreational music making by introducing new potential customers to the benefits of group drumming. For stress-reduction, teambuilding, and self-expression, this program offers many benefits to the mainstream audience in today’s world,” says Christine Stevens. “Music retailers can start this program in their stores or team up with a community venue. We have found that drumming leads to more interest in all types of music making, and more purchases.”

The comprehensive guide features sections on how to plan, promote and present effective drum circle events and includes both printed and electronic versions of posters, flyers, postcards, press releases, an in-store video and TV commercial scripts that can be used for in-store, major media and other local promotions. The 16-page, 4-color booklet and accompanying CD-ROM also contain a list of references, resources and certified drum circle facilitators throughout the U.S. REMO also offers support in finding a local facilitator for each store through their database of over 200 qualified facilitators across the USA. The Remo Drum Circle Start-Up Kit is available at no charge to Remo dealers who buy-in to the recommended Remo World Percussion instruments guaranteed to service the recreational market. Participating Drum Circle dealers will be listed on the remo.com website and other related advertising and marketing materials.
