Remo, Inc. Joins Ford Motor Company’s Warriors in Pink’s 19th Year of Helping Fight Breast Cancer

Valencia, CA  - As Ford Motor Company and its Warriors in Pink campaign kicks off its 19th year of support in the fight against breast cancer. Remo, Inc., a leader in the percussion product industry, teams up again to join the fight. Autographed custom made Remo drumheads will be auctioned on E-Bay for ten days starting June 3rd, 2013.  100% of the pledged amount from the auction will be donated to breast cancer charities.  Remo endorsed artists were eager to participate and have their bands autograph the drumheads. Autographed drumheads include No Doubt (Adrian Young, drummer), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Chad Smith, drummer), Montgomery Gentry, Jerrod Neimann and Band, Dierks Bentley (Steve Misamore, drummer) , Steve Smith, drummer (Vital Information), and Franklin Vanderbilt, drummer (Lenny Kravitz).

The highest bidder on these exclusive drumheads can designate their funds to one of Warriors in Pink’s four breast cancer charity partners.

The Pink Fund—Provides financial aid in the form of direct bill payment on behalf of breast cancer patients in active treatment. Many patients are unable to work during treatment. Young Survival Coalition (YSC)—The Young Survival Coalition directly improves the lives of thousands of young women with breast cancer. One in eight women diagnosed with breast cancer are younger than 45 years old. YSC provides free resources and programs to support, educate and empower these women.

In addition, Remo has manufactured the Warriors in Pink line of percussion which includes a 12” Mondo Djembe with a matching graphic drumhead, a 14” Buffalo Drum, a 22” Graphic Bass Drumhead and a 14” Graphic Batter Drumhead.
