WGI 2012 Congratulations
RCC won the Gold Medal in the PIW division with a score of 97.088 at the WGI World Championships held in Dayton Ohio from April 19th through the 21st.
Led by artist Sean Vega, there show entitled, The Gift, a tribute to the many men and women who serve to protect their country and their right to freedom. Congratulations to director Gary Locke, the entire staff and members on an outstanding season.
Chino Hills HS won the Gold Medal in the PSW division with a score of 96.875 Led by artists Ian Grom and John Mapes, their show entitled, Predictable, a production about how we all need a little surprise and a bit of the unexpected in our lives.

Pulse Percussion led by John Mapes, Ian Grom, and director Danielle Collins, won the Bronze Medal in the PIW division with their show entitled, Coming and Going. Rounding out the rest of the PIW division were, Matrix (Rob Ferguson), United Percussion (Chad Moore, Esq), Infinity (Tom Hurst), Pulse Open Percussion, (Joe Enriquez), Tates Creek (Brian Flack) Blue Knights (Jason Keeling), Stryke Percussion (Scott Hughes), Eastside Fury (Jason Ihnat), Palmetto Percussion, (Joel Garnder)
Dartmouth HS led by Tom Aungst won the Silver Medal in the PSW division with their show entitled, Evolved.
Ayala HS led by Ike Jackson, Sean Gordon and Brian Nungaray won the Bronze Medal in the PSW division with their show entitled, In The Dark. Additional Remo PSW finalists include, Center Grove HS (Josh Torres), Father Ryan HS (Derek, Dustin, and Jeff Schletzer), Rowland HS (Eric Shriver)
Minnesota Brass Percussion led by Joel Matuzak won the Silver Medal in the PIO division with their show entitled, Do Not Go Gentle.
Orange County Independent Percussion led by Sean Cunningham and Pete Sapadin won the Bronze Medal in the PIO division with their show entitled, Rhythm is Life.
PSO finalists include, Dorman HS (Jonathan Duke), King Philip HS (Michael Moore), Trumbull HS (Thomas Whitmoyer)
Spirit of America led by Ian Hale won the Gold Medal in the PIA division with their show entitled, Spirit Fusion.
Vegas Vanguard led by Brian Howerton, won the Bronze Medal in the PIA division with their show entitled, Anarchy.
Mechanicsburg HS led by Brian Stockard won the Silver Medal in the PSA division with their show entitled, The Tribal Affect.

The Ayala HS concert percussion ensemble led by Bryan Nungaray, Sean Gordon, and Ike Jackson took home the Silver medal in the PSCW division with their show entitled, The Absence of You.
Muscle Shoals HS led by David Waters won the Bronze Medal in the PSCW division With their show entitled, The Music of Howard Hanson.
