Jimmie Morales Brings a Little Puerto Rico to Taiwan

Jimmie Morales, one of the most influential percussionists of the last 25+ years is expanding his musical horizons to Asia.  The renown Puerto Rican percussionist, who has recorded with artists like; Juan Luis Guerra, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Frankie Ruiz, Willie Rosario, Oscar D' Leon, Andy Montañez among others, will be offering percussion clinics in Taiwan.

The percussion clinics are part of the annual Taipei International Percussion Summer Camp which will take place at the Taipei National University of Arts during July 15th thru 25th. The camp is sponsored by Ju Percussion Group Foundation in Taiwan.

The Taipei International Percussion Summer Camp attendees who range from the ages of 11 thru 21 are sure to experience the first rhythmic sounds of Jimmie's native Puerto Rico like the Bomba y Plena as well as, Seis Chorriao, Salsa and all its variations.  The essence of his Puerto Rican culture will be brought to life for all to live, learn and enjoy.

There is no doubt that with Jimmie's impeccable rhythm and solid drive he will conquer the hearts of all the attendees at the Taipei International Percussion Summer Camp and the world.
