Beat the Odds Training
Event Time: 1:00PM - 6:00PM Event Cost: $95
Beat the Odds integrates activities from contemporary drum circles and group counseling to teach skills such as focus and listening, team building, leadership, expressing feelings, managing anger/stress, empathy, and gratitude. This is a training program designed for use with elementary school students that can be adapted easily to other populations and delivered by persons without musical experience. Facilitated by Ping Ho, MA, MPH; Giselle Friedman, LCSW; and Mike DeMenno.
