|Helen Dolas holds a BA in Music Therapy and MS in Special Education from California State University, Long Beach.
Celebrating over 30 years of service, she founded Arts & Services for Disabled, Inc. in 1982, a non-profit organization that has provided quality creative arts education and music therapy, driven by a Love before Learning philosophy, to individuals with disabilities. Ms. Dolas has also served as the Clinical Training Director of the American Music Therapy Association. In 2013, Dolas continues to meet the needs of the community by developing new in-home services and The ASD Clinic, serving children with autism.
Additionally, Dolas is a professor of music education and music therapy at California State University, Northridge. Also assisting in curriculum development with UCLAArts and Healing Social Emotional Arts Curriculum. She is also a co-founder of International Foundation of Healing Arts promoting healing arts programs and organizations.
