so we had a bunch of snow this morning, unexpectadely, so after 1st period of history, i go out to my car, and was like screw this, i start leaving, and bam. i dont' go anywhere. i get on the main road, up this little hill, people had to help me push it up etc., still wouldn't go anywhere, so i had to leave it on the side of the road, because it virtually was undriveable. this guy said hey man just get your stuff out i'll give you a ride home, so he did. just got home, after getting out of class at 10:30, it took THIS long to get home. what a pain in the ass day.

Ahh....I miss the days of snow. My buddy had a '94 Mustang convertable that ran the 1/4 mile in 12.8. When winter hit in Iowa...he went NOWHERE. That was the most worthless car Ive ever seen in the snow, of course the 305 in the rear and 285s in the front didnt help.Tounge

its a PITA!!!! the thing is the roads aren't even that bad, or at least the conditios aren't. its only like 2-3 inches of snow, but here, where i live, don't use their heads. no plows, no salting trucks, NOTHING. the snow started to turn into ice, then it snowed on top of the ice. it was horrible.

nah, they have good salt now that doesn't do as much damage, i used to live in illinois, so i know how its like with salting.

the fact is they don't use anything, literally anything. yeah it did feel wrong to leave my car behind, but hey, things gotta get done Wink
