Hello,

I'm very much interested in purchasing a Remo djembe drum soon for my very first percussion instrument and I'm having some confusion as to what the differences are between the key-tuned djembes and the mondo djembes. The description on this site says something about the mondo having contour tuning? Other than that there doesn't seem to be much detail about the two types unless I'm missing something.

Also, I'm kinda favoring the brown Earth tone finish (not the black Earth) but there seems to be two different brown Earth tones to choose from. One has a greyish drum head and the other has a orange goldish color but they're both just listed as Earth toned.

Can anyone clear this up for me? I'm Jonesing for one of these things but I wanna know what I'm getting.
