I play in a percussion band in Pakistan. There is no authorised Remo dealer/distributor here. I own two Egyptian doumbeks and a Remo Modular Drum, which I purchased last year from England.
In Pakistan, I have no option of trying out Remo Doumbeks. I watched Issam's video on Remo Doumbeks and have decided to opt for an 8" or 9" Doumbek, as I play more on the treble side. I have a friend in the US who will be travelling to Pakistan soon. I need further details about the doumbeks, and their differences! What's the difference between the external and internal tuning doumbeks?? what is the difference between clear tone and fishskyn?? thanks
