I'm learning Take Five on drums as well as piano. Drums is going smoothly, but I struggle with improvising on the piano. I'm a classicaly trained pianist being jazz trained in drums right now. But it doesn't help with my piano skills too much, especially since I stopped taking lessons a couple years ago and "quit" piano to pursue drums and percussion. I have no regrets, it's just harder for me to grasp concepts on the piano. Improvising advice?
