Thanks to all who replied to my question about the re-use of a resonate snare head. I was using a stock head that came with the DW Collectors Maple drum. Now, on to the type to use. The Remo web sight shows a clear (obviously) Diplomat batter. Is that the correct snare/resonate head to use when replacing the bottom snare head ? I didn't see anything about a different name type head to use. Thanks again fellow drummers out there. I also checked Musicians Friend's sight and only came up with the Clear Diplomat batter head (7.5 ply) available.
