http://www.snarescience.com/exercises/grid-independence.pdf

In all exercises, one hand plays an ostinato (repeated) pattern through out while the other hand plays the accent pattern to a standard 16th note grid.

When a double-stop note is marked as an accent, this doesn't necessarily mean that both hands are accented. Follow the pattern for the ostinato hand (written as the right hand).

Of course, practice with the ostinato on the left hand as well to get symmetric independence.

I don't claim to be proficient at all these patterns yet, but I'm going to practice them, starting... now! Smile
