Some great suggestions above. ^^ Obviously, it depends on where ya live, but I use Musician's Friend, Guitar Center (now fully online), Music123, and Midwest Percussion. So far I've had zero problems from any of these excellent companies.

Just remember, when you're figuring out cost, base your decision on your TOTAL cost. This is where IMO e-Bay sometimes falls short. You can MAYBE get it cheaper there (Musician's Friend, Music123, Sam Ash, and Guitar Center ALL have low price guarantees), but some times ya get bashed on ridiculous shipping fees. Not sure about all online sites, but as noted above Musician's Friend OFTEN has free shipping (usually over $99) on orders.

While buying on-line is great, and I do from time to time, shopping at your local retailer has its advantages....

I have been using GC for probably 7 to 8 years now....

Have gotten to know a few people there...Sometimes , face to face associations net better dividends....

I loked at massmusic and priced my pearl kit to the cost I paid @ GC...

There quote for a kit minus one tom was $2800.00 (6-piece)

I paid $2000.00 out the door for my Masters BRX 7-piece....

I think thats a big difference...online its about sales and no human connection...IMHO

I love my salesman @ GC!!!!

Some sit wondering...Others are doing while you waste time wondering....

Not any more, the prices have been pushed up recently, its just as expensive as any shop in the UK and you have to postage to contend with....

Well, almost every online store I've tried to shop from only ship to EUA and probably Canada, nothing to the south, massmusic.net is the only one I know that ships to México.

http://www.cymbalfusion.com is an authorized dealer of DW drums based out of Houston Texas. They are drummers so they take things seroiusly and will take the extra time to find or help you decide what you want, not just a salesman looking to take your money. They are extremely helpful, prompt and do what they say. They took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. DW Collectors Series 7 piece; see attached photo.

They also cary a large line of cymbals, drum heads and all other types of drum accessories.
