Hi all,
I am new here. I am doing my Bachelor's thesis project drumming with women in recovery in prison. As you probably know there isn't much out there in the scholarly journals about this. I am looking to hear from people who have drummed with women in recovery and/or women in recovery who drum. My work needs to be done by early December. Happy Thanksgiving!
Peace
Dana

Hi Dana, my name is Andrew. I do a weekly drumming group with mothers in recovery at a place called Coventry House in Hartford, CT. Additionally, I did a research article on women in recovery for graduate school. If you want I can send you my references, also I can give you some insight on what it is like to facilitate a group with mothers in recovery.
