Hi All... I am happy to say I completed my first HealthRhythms facilitation today after completing the training in San Diego this past weekend. I must say I am glad I did it so soon, as I can see a person can forget a lot of the information, or the nuances needed for a good group, quickly.
I facilitated with a Stroke Support Group (survivors, caregivers, staff). It went well, with a group of 9. I learned more than I can write here, mostly that I need to continue to practice this to get confident with it.
It was great fun and I look forward to trying to put together a staff session for nurses and therapists here on the Rehabilitation floor of the hospital I work at.
BTW - it was a great experience meeting and learning from so many of my now peers this past weekend. Thank you, and thanks to Dr. Bitman and Christine Stevens.
