Hello, I am looking for the deepest possible tone from a frame drum, maximum 14 inches and maximum depth 2.5 inches. Any advice would be wildly appreciated as there are so many options online and I can't demo any of them.
Please, which of these two drums creates the deepest warmest tone?
The pretuned 14 inch frame drum, or the tunable 12 inch frame drum?
I'm assuming the tunable 12 inch can go deeper because I can loosen the head.
If this is true, which head is recommended for a warm rich tone?
I have a 10 inch tunable REMO frame drum with the fiberskyn 3 head, but it's not deep and rich enough for me.
I intend to play it in drum circles with two soft mallets, THANK YOU REMO!
