LOL!! I liked Brads reply, a man of few words. And I do agree with Paul.

Maybe I misunderstood the question but I do use matching heads on my toms. I used Fiberskyn3's for a while and recently changed to Coated Ambassadors which opened the sound significantly. Most of the time I work in small venues and it works for me. Next week Im playing a small outdoor gig and well see how that works.

BTW: I am tuning the toms at a higher tone than before. About a year ago a friend told me although your drums sound good up close but from out front they tend to get lost in the mix.
