hey guys i am semi new to drumming and i split my snare last night and iv been looking at remo and they have a lot of selections but i dont know which one is right for me any help would be helpful

Coated Ambassador is the all time standard for any style of music.
We need to know what type music you are plying and type of sound you are looking for, then some of the guys here will help fine tune ideas of what you may want.
BTW: How in the world could you split a drum head. Those things are tough stuff. The only way I can think of how that happened is you may have accidentally slapped the drum stick down flat on the head at some point and weakened the head. In the future while practicing always use the ball/tip of the drum stick on the head; they will last much longer.
