Don't have pictures, but the two best sounding Snares I played in my limited existence have both been Slingerland brand drums. A ) - Concert Snare : 15x7 or 8" Mahogany. I played it in school Orchestra class. As I recall, it had DieCast hoops (many lugs, ten or twelve per side). Even at that large size, it had great tone and was quite sensitive. A memorable, sweet sounding drum. B ) - My COB 14x5.5" Super Sound King parallel snare. Here is an example of the Super Sound King parallel strainer.
